Grupo MCI participated in the lighting project of the Canseco & Mesteño Restaurant, by the well-known chef Jesús Almagro. An exciting project in which Almagro present two proposals: an illustrated bar, Canseco, and a gastronomic restaurant: Mesteño.
To provide high performance indirect lighting in the shelves at the bar area, Canseco, flexible strip Linear Flex® Plus have been integrated. Linear Flex is a very suitable for cove lighting and can be installed easily onto any surface. Its small size enables it to be seamlessly integrated into architectural spaces.
A wire system has been installed in the restaurant area to provide visual comfort lighting for the customers. This type of system solves the lighting problems in rooms with high and very high ceilings or finished as lofts, with beams, arches, vaults, etc. and very extensive interiors, such as churches, cinemas, libraries, museums, open spaces and showrooms. It can be used for horizontal, vertical, sloping, zigzag, corner, polygonal or differentiated level installations. The system contains an incorporated G53 socket for the use of either halogen or LED lamps, and you can create direct, indirect, mixed, diffused, accent and dark lighting.
Canseco and Mesteño Restaurant is located in the NH Collection Palacio de Tepa, in Madrid. The hotel is located in an elegant palace from the XIX century designed by the architect of the Prado Museum, Juan de Villanueva, and decorated by award winning Ramón Esteve. The hotel and restaurant is in the heart of Barrio de las Letras, Madrid’s literary district, and a stroll away from the city’s sights.
