GRUPO MCI participated in the lighting project of the corridors of the new University of Applied Sciences, a modern learning environment built on former factory premises located in Lahti, 100 kilometres away from Helsinki.
Line Grazer® RGB projectors have been used to achieve a tenuous and homogeneous lighting for the students. This lighting system has been installed just at the upper part of the stretched fabrics in the ceiling.
These stretched fabrics together with the GRUPO MCI lighting system, provide an interesting and innovative lighting effect, transforming functional ceilings into authentic pieces of art without altering the architectural design of the building.
Line Grazer® is a linear wall washer with a robust aluminium housing and a UV resistant glass cover. This product is suitable for both outdoor and indoor highlighting applications, offering powerful and efficient wall washing effects and providing a high environmental protection grade (IP66) as well as a good impact resistance (IK09).
Line Grazer® is available in a range of both monochromatic and colour changing temperatures, controlled via DMX or DALI. A wide range of beam angles and mounting options are available.
