MCI GROUP participated in the lighting project for the corridors of the new Lahti University of Sciences (Finland). The new campus is a modern learning environment that has been built on the premises of an old factory located in Lahti, about 100 kilometers from Helsinki.
To achieve a soft and homogeneous lighting for the students, Line Grazer® RGB Linear projectors from MCI GROUP have been supplied. These projectors have been installed on the upper perimeter of the walls, just behind the stretched fabric that runs from end to end of the campus corridors.
It is worth noting that the union of the stretched fabric with the MCI GROUP lighting system provides an interesting and innovative lighting effect, transforming functional ceilings into authentic pieces of art without altering the architectural design of the building.
Line Grazer® is a linear projector, with an aluminum body and a glass surface with UV protection, developed to accentuate the architecture in lighting projects, guaranteeing a uniform and high-performance light. It is ideal for both outdoor and indoor applications, providing a high degree of protection (IP66) and impact resistance (IK09).
Line Grazer® is available in different monochrome and colour-changing versions, all of which can be controlled by DMX, DALI. A wide range of optics and different mounting options are also offered.
