Convent of Santa Rosa de Viterbo · Santiago de Querétaro

The new lighting of the former Convent of Santa Rosa de Viterbo, in the city of Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico, has recently been inaugurated.

To enhance the architectural beauty of this historic monument, one of the best preserved in the city and an important exponent of baroque art in America, warm white LedFloodStrip®II HP, 50 cm and 25 cm, from Grupo MCI were installed.

LedFloodStrip® II is a rigid linear luminaire for outdoor and indoor use designed to offer decorative lighting effects. It is mainly characterized by its small size, low consumption and easy installation.

The luminaire is made up of an anodized aluminum body and a transparent polycarbonate diffuser. The ends of the profile are sealed to guarantee an IP66 protection degree. The connection between luminaires is made through male-female connections, allowing for continuous and uniform light.

In LedFloodstrip® II, the evolution of LedFloodstrip® I, new details have been incorporated such as Plug&Play connectors (IP66), and the new aluminium profile that offers the possibility of orienting the luminaire as required up to 180°. This luminaire adapts perfectly to the architectural needs of each project and offers a wide variety of models and powers (up to 23 W/m).

Finally, the entire perimeter of the fountain is illuminated with warm white SmarLedFlex®, providing a high-performance homogeneous light. Thanks to its flexible body, it can be placed in curved and difficult-to-access spaces. The luminaire is made of silicone elastomer that offers high protection against UV rays and an IP66 protection degree.
