Back New Balance Bilbao & Oporto

New Balance continues its commercial expansion in Spain and Portugal through its two recent openings of mono-brand stores in the cities of Bilbao and Porto. The winning philosophy of the brand is transferred to its behavior in the market through a strategy of commercial expansion nonconformist, a leading personality that has led the American brand to open two new exclusive stores in two key cities in the Spanish and Portuguese market.

To illuminate the two new stores, the firm once again entrusted Grupo MCI luminaires.

For the general lighting, LED Structec 36W projectors, for three phase’s rail track system, were used. Those projectors provide a warm atmosphere with different beam angles and its elegant design fits perfectly into the architecture of the store.

This type of adjustable projectors are very suitable for shops and commercial lighting spaces due to its high efficiency: >90lm/W.

To achieve different lighting effects in the same space, these projectors incorporate different optical options. Concentrate beam angles (38 °) for accent lighting or to highlight different architectural areas, or open beams angles (60º), to illuminate general spaces, wall washing effects, surfaces or elements of larger exposure.

NEW BALANCE BILBAO

The expansion of New Balance in Spain continues to consolidate with this opening, in the city of Bilbao. The store, located on Calle Ercilla 25, one of the areas with the highest pedestrian traffic in the capital of Bizkaia, opened its doors last July 2016.

Its 230 square meters spread over three floors constitute a space whose design and exhibition fuse perfectly the essence and history of the brand, founded in 1906. A place designed to get all their customers to live a great shopping experience while discovering a wide range of products.

NEW BALANCE OPORTO

With this new opening New Balance lands in the north of Portugal with the largest of its stores across Europe.

The 750 square meters’ store, spread over three floors, was inaugurated last August at the central Rua Fernandes Tomas 647-659. All visitors will be able to enjoy New Balance products, and the third floor of the store will be exclusively dedicated to FC Porto, one of the best European clubs sponsored by the brand, where all their fans can buy the official products of the club.
